About Me

I built my practice on my belief that “healing starts with being human.” I have seen first hand how people heal, thrive, and expand when they better understand the human condition and the parts of themselves that serve in their growth. Life itself is a not a problem to be fixed, but a process we must learn to live. By our very nature we are built to survive, but we can learn how to turn surviving into thriving.

I have several years of experience working with diverse populations and organizations. Through out my career one thing seems to remain the same: the human condition consists of three things, to be seen, to be heard, and to be understood. This has prompted me to develop an eclectic approach that can meet each individual where they are and tailor treatment to their specific needs.

In addition to my work as a therapist I am also an athlete who is involved in Muay Thai Kickboxing. My work as a martial artist has driven me into expanding my approach to include holistic interventions involving mind, body, and soul. The brain is only one part of the being so we must break the fixation of solely looking at the mind in order to include other vital aspects of our humanity into the healing process.
